As a product brand of LX, we at INCYT are thrilled to announce that we have been selected by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) as one of three initial companies to receive a contract award for the Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) project. This is a significant achievement and we are excited to be a part of such a crucial initiative that will help enhance the Department of Defense's asset tracking capabilities.
Release Notes - August 2024
Welcome to the August 2024 release notes, for V2.1.8 of our app! Our team has had another busy month with, as a highlight for our team as well as many of our clients, adding our Smart Sensing Camera to the INCYT Cockpit, ready to be used on farms around Australia! As always, if you have any questions about these release notes or ideas on what you think we should work on next, make sure to get in touch with our support team!
Introducing: Smart Sensing Camera
With the launch of INCYT’s Smart Sensing Camera, you are now able to add an intelligent set of eyes to your operation. This camera can be triggered by many different environmental factors such as sound, movement, radar or temperature - but you can of course still set it to capture at regular intervals as well! In the INCYT dashboard you’re able to configure specific alarms as well which will notify you of motion/sensor events between certain hours.
Inversion gauge readability upgrade in Inversion and Maverick apps
We got feedback from our users that they would like to see some changes made to our inversion gauge, and so we listened and acted on it! You can now clearly see on the inversion temperature gauge widget whether an inversion is present, rising or fading. This will make it easier for users to determine what the exact local conditions are, and whether they are able to perform a spray application or not - without having to manually interpret data. This inversion gauge is present in both the Inversion as well as Maverick applications.
Adding more functionality for pressure sensors to the Cockpit
With a strong increase in demand for pressure sensors to measure both liquids and gases, the time was right for us to add more functionality to our dashboard for this group of users. These sensors are typically used in water tanks, bulk liquid trucks, liquid fertiliser tanks, gas tanks, and many other applications. Pressure sensors in combination with one of our trackers such as the Polaris, Antares or Andromeda, allow you to keep track of liquid levels in even the most remote locations around the world.
One example of the added functionality for pressure sensors is that on the INCYT dashboard you are now able to select a ‘seasonal consumption’ widget for your pressure sensor, which is very applicable for liquid fertiliser tanks. This widget will allow you to calculate seasonal usage together with an array of other features. You are also able to select which liquid you are monitoring with an individual pressure sensor, which will change the colour of the pin for this sensor on your map.
Other Updates
We have implemented an auto-transcription functionality in notes and spray records, meaning that voice memos will automatically get transcribed, allowing you to easily read the content without having to listen to (sometimes lengthy) audio recordings.
In this latest app update you’ll now also find the option for a ‘Fleet CSV Download’, meaning that it’s now very quick and easy to download the data from all applications in a fleet at the same time.
