Water Flow Rate Sensor

INCYT’s water flow rate sensor enables you to remotely monitor your irrigation infrastructure. By knowing the exact flow rate details you are able to optimise your irrigation practices and apply the right amount of water at the right time, reducing over- or under-watering and improve your water use efficiency. You are also able to pump an exact quantity of water from a river, channel or bore with INCYT’s water flow rate sensor, making sure you don’t exceed your allocation. Water is money, and maximising your profitability from this scarce resource is key!

HOW IT WORKS

INCYT’s water flow rate sensor utilises INCYT’s XR network, so you’re not restricted to only using this in areas where you’ve got a cellphone signal - as long as your water pipe is within reach of a INCYT base station, you’re able to use the water flow rate sensor! The water flow rate monitor gets paired up with an INCYT blue node, giving you up to 8 (!) years of battery life! 

The installation kit includes a water flow rate sensor and blue node. The brass seat and pipe adapter fitting needs to be ordered separately to make sure that it fits exactly on your irrigation infrastructure - see below for more information

The water flow rate data is available to you through the INCYT cockpit, which allows you to share this data with other users on your INCYT account as well. You are able to see flow rate data for different periods of time (24 hours, week, year, etc.) and you’re able to set low / high flow alarms as well. Alarms can be set for a specific quantity of water over a custom period of time (less than 5ML in a 12 hour period for example) which will then trigger a email, text or in-app message once this threshold has been met. The reporting frequency of the water flow rate sensor is once an hour.
