On Farm Connectivity Program Round 2 will open soon!

The Australian Government's On Farm Connectivity Program is providing $33 million over 2 years from 2023–24 to 2024–25 to enable primary producers in agriculture, forestry and/or fisheries to take advantage of connected machinery and sensor technology.

This program is part of the Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia, and aims to assist primary producers to take advantage of digital agribusiness solutions to boost productivity, improve safety and drive more sustainable farming practices.

OFCP Round 2 Guidelines

Primary producers have a revenue cap to $4 million in order to be eligible
Minimum grant rebate is $1,000 and maximum grant rebate is $30,000 with a 50% rebate for the cost of smart farming technology that can help to optimise soil quality and nutrient levels, monitor livestock, improve efficiency of water use and streamline farm logistics.
Equipment includes base stations / connectivity equipment, sensors such as soil moisture probes, weather stations and height sensors, pump controllers and much more.
